Campaign Monitor features Cherry handiwork

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Cor, look! Another mention for Cherry this week, this time from Campaign Monitor, everyone’s favourite email gurus!

We use their software to create and send campaigns for many of our clients, and they’ve picked up on the redesign we recently unleashed for Lonely Planet’s weekly Seize The Days email.

It’s a design we’re really happy with, and one we feels sums up the fun, inspirational nature of the email content nicely. It’s good to see others are appreciating it too!

Cherry First Thursday……

Friday, May 8th, 2009

First Thursday in Shoreditch is a Cherry fave!

This month the first gallery on the trail was Stella Dore on Rivington street, for I-lib’s solo show.  I-lib – (I Lurk in Bushes) depicts strange anthropomorphic creatures from another world that conjure up captivating visions of love, hate, life and death…. Lots of beautiful Victorian style illustrations on found vintage paper.

‘As Tear Drops Fall’ I-libs solo show, runs until May 23rd at Stella Dore, 47 Rivington Street EC2

After a few beers at Stella Dore we didn’t quite make it to the Power in Numbers show at Bodhi Gallery on Brick Lane, but this is definitely on the list to check out this weekend!  Cure studio and Print Club London have been printing like mad all week to produce 40 different artists work in editions of 50.

Bodhi Gallery is at 214 Brick Lane E1

The night ended with a few more drinks at Dragon Bar, good laugh all round, roll on next First Thursday!

Not in Kansas Anymore

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

Cherry recently jumped at the chance to get involved with the branding and design for the superb underground club night Not in Kansas Anymore, run by our great friend Guillermo Ramos… not least so we could secure tickets to see bands like The Duke Spirit in a venue smaller than your average front room.

We created the branding, and our superbly talented illustrator Chris Floyd let his strange mind loose on a set of twelve illustrations. The illustrations are being used, one at a time, on the flyers for the once-a-month nights. They’re collectable, and fit together to make a poster. Look out for them, and if you get the chance, join us at the next Not in Kansas Anymore night soon.
