Cherry have been working with Lonely Planet on the launch of the Million Day Grab Back campaign.
A survey by Lonely Planet, the world’s leading travel information provider, has produced some eye-opening statistics on how people use – or misuse – their time off. The research finds that Brits are using just 25% of their weekends for days out, with 28% not taking any at all. Worryingly, the research also shows these days out to be in decline.
With so much precious free time going to waste, Lonely Planet is on a mission to help the nation reclaim what’s rightfully theirs – time off, well spent… away from the daily grind!
People can join the campaign by signing up for Lonely Planet’s “Seize the Days” email newsletter, packed with inspiring, cheap (and very often free) ways to make the most of their time off.
Everyone signing up receives a 10 Free Days mini-guide to get them grabbing back their free time straight away, and helps push the campaign total towards 1 million days. There are also great prizes and bonuses up for grabs.
