Back to the old school
Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010Over the bank holiday weekend I took the chance to step away from my computer and get my hands dirty at Print Club London. They organise great one-day workshops that take you through the whole printing process from exposing your screen, mixing your inks and printing your image, to sticking on some ear protectors and taking control of the power-hose to get your screen squeaky clean again.
Now, although my image didn’t come out exactly as I’d hoped, a bit of trial and error would have remedied this, it was fun to get involved and poke my nose around their studio.
During lunch we headed to a nearby cafe and out the window I spotted a fantastic painted advertisement which looks like until recently it has been hidden behind a billboard. Beautiful old type with layers of history. Love it!
